Introduction to Excel VBA
(day 1)
This one-day workshop style course takes you through a Step-by-step approach with the fundamental principles involved in automating spreadsheet tasks.
On completion of the course, you will be able to create macro programs in Microsoft Excel to automate spread sheet tasks as well as make changes to existing macros to meet your spread sheets requirements.

- Getting the most out of your Macro Recorder – Relative & Absolute recordings
- Running macros from the Toolbar and from controls on your spread sheets
- Using the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) to manage existing macros
- Work with and understand Object-oriented concepts – Objects, Methods and Properties
- Create macros that execute automatically via workbooks events
- Debugging and managing macros errors

Excel VBA Masterclass
(day 1 & day 2)
This two-day workshop style course takes you through a Step-by-step approach to start creating your own VBA programs.
This course will provide inexperienced macros users with enough knowledge of the fundamentals, to begin writing your own macro programs.
On this course you will practice writing macro programs using VBA code to automate repetitive spread sheets tasks. Additionally, you will understand all the fundamentals needed to develop your programming skills with Microsoft Excel.

Day 1
- Getting the most out of your Macro Recorder – Relative & Absolute recordings

- Use Variables in your program code
- Use looping constructs to perform repetitive tasks
- Use IF THEN constructs to make decisions and control the flow of your programs
- Create and use Input Boxes and Message boxes use data from users
- Create User Defined Functions (UDFs)
- Troubleshooting macro errors with Error Handling code
