Pre-requisites: Confident/experienced writing own basic formulas e.g. SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, percentages, etc. Ideally experienced/confident in using ‘$’ to lock cells within formulas.

A Certificate of Training confirms that an individual has attended the course. It is not CPD-accredited and does not indicate any test results or assessment of knowledge.
A Certificate of Achievement, on the other hand, is CPD-accredited and demonstrates that the individual has not only attended the course but also passed the test. Your certificate of achievement includes your test score, allowing employers to see your proficiency and confidence in Excel.
We aim to send out the Certificate of Training within 3 working days of completing the course.
We strive to mark tests and issue certificates within 10 working days. However, during busy periods, it may take up to 20 working days for tests to be marked and for certificates to be sent.
Yes, our virtual Excel courses are CPD-accredited. They are the exact same courses as our in-person courses, with the only difference being that they are delivered online rather than face-to-face.
We are confident in the quality of our training and believe all attendees should pass—whether on their first attempt or within three attempts. Since introducing CPD accreditation in January 2025, we have maintained a 96% first-attempt pass rate and a 100% second attempt pass rate.
If you don’t pass on your first attempt, you’ll receive detailed feedback and support from our lead trainer. With this guidance, we are certain you will succeed.
If, for any reason, you are unsuccessful after three attempts, you can re-sit the course at an reduced rate starting from £39.99 + VAT (compared to the usual £275-£285 + VAT). Please note that re-sit courses are subject to availability.
